The passion to cater for these less privilege ones came when in 2008, my third
child, Precious "My Angel" could not talk after Ten years of birth, I started looking
for solution, moving from one man of God to the other. I went to UCH, Ibadan,
The Doctors confirmed she was alright since she can hear a sound and her
tongue is okay. Her situation and condition weighed me down until I started
questioning God (because the girl looks like an angel). My husband and family
threatened me to produce an answer to her case. In fact it was much on me until
one faithful Sunday in a praise and worship in my church, God directed me to visit
a motherless home close by. Brethren, on getting there, I saw babies with plenty
house flies on them. Ah!! many weeping without care and the care givers were
busy gisting. I was annoyed with them and one of them said I should go If I don't
like what I encountered. While quarreling with those care givers, Precious
(angel) had already started making friends with some of the children at the home
despite their horrible condition, then she insisted I should take some of them
home to take care of them or else she will not follow me back. That touched my
heart.
Less than 2 weeks of that visit , Precious started talking miraculously. The
passion and love for these children came upon me seriously, that is to take care of
these vulnerable ones, to relate with them and bring them up spiritually,
academically, socially and otherwise. God gave me the auction then I started
caring for these orphans and vulnerable children, educating and encouraging
couples without children and helping the aged ones whose children are not
forthcoming, also moving from one school to another to educate the youths
especially young girls on the issue of rape, abuse, dangers of bad peer groups,
etc. This is what we call child participation in (NACCRAN) which i am also a
member.

Divine Mercy Orphanage Home has a two-tier programme for the children:
Rehabilitation and Reformation. RehabilitationThe first objective is to take abandoned children off the streets and give them a befitting home. The Divine Mercy Orphanage Home structurally is a haven in every measure. The children and babies are rehabilitated under the most conducive conditions with unconditional love and excellent care. Our vision is capital intensive because we initiate and build rehabilitation centers. The hostel within these centers is called “Divine Mercy Children's Palace” for orphans, abused and abandoned children brought into the mission through the police or good Samaritans. Divine Mercy Orphanage Home is a home away from home for our precious children. ReformationLastly, this is done through Education and extra curricular activities. Education is the best investment in children. The mission is determined to help the Divine Mercy children as far as they want go to in their pursuit of academic excellence. All Divine Mercy Orphanage Home children goes to school located around the orphanage. Presently we have some of them in secondary schools. We invite everyone to pay a visit to the children of the Divine Mercy Orphanage Home. The children are wonderful to behold. Their laughter, their tender touch, and their whispers of love and appreciation will stir up tenderness and compassion in anyone.
